EmPower New York provides NO-COST energy efficiency solutions to income-eligible New Yorkers

"We were privileged to be the recipients of the renewal energy program offered by NYS. Since the insulation that was done in December 2022, we have noticed a marked difference in the comfort level within the living spaces. We are particularly pleased with the insulation around the entry doors which has keep the cold out, leaving the passage ways much warmer and ultimately the rooms within the living spaces. Prior to this, it was very difficult to stand by the kitchen sink, since cold air was always coming in from under the outer door. At this time we have not yet reviewed the energy bills to quantify the difference the program has made but we are willing to provide such information at a later date.
